MY STORY

Founded by Sonja Perrault, a veteran and certified mediator, Alternative Resolution Mediation Services is grounded in more than three decades of leadership, conflict resolution, and legal experience developed throughout Sonja’s 23-year career in the United States Army JAG Corps.

Following her military service, Sonja continued working in the legal field, where she developed a passion for mediation and helping individuals and families navigate conflict in healthier, more productive ways. Her approach combines professionalism, structure, compassion, and practical problem-solving to help clients move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

At Alternative Resolution Mediation Services, we believe conflict does not have to be destructive. Whether addressing divorce, child custody, parenting plans, co-parenting challenges, or other family disputes, our goal is to create a calm and respectful environment where productive communication and meaningful resolution can occur.
